Bigo is a Seoul-based artist focusing on the cognitive communication between the body and objects. Her work investigates how our brains interact with our surroundings, focusing on how brain activity and physical presence influence our perception and the spaces around us. Bigo's art promotes dynamic cognitive transformations, such as the expansion or distortion of bodily perception. Her interdisciplinary practice encompasses performance, video, installation, and printed matter, and actively engages audiences in participation. Notably, her career includes the solo exhibition 'Wishy-Washy Bodies' at Centre A, Vancouver, Canada, in 2017, which featured the participatory performance 'tOOOOOrso'. Since then, she has continued to present numerous participatory performances in Seoul, most recently 'TRACERS 3' in 2023.
